Conversation Coaching for Leaders Navigating Complexity

Speak Clearly Without Shrinking Yourself

You’re here because you’re done shrinking yourself to fit. You’re a thoughtful, unconventional leader or entrepreneur who thinks and feels deeply, notices patterns others overlook, and often carries the emotional weight of conversations. You want to stay calm, confident, and connected when conversations get charged. That might look like advocating for yourself in a meeting without being dismissed, raising concerns about workload or boundaries with a manager, talking honestly about mental health with family, or sharing your views in community spaces without being shut down or misread. You want clarity, stronger relationships, and real understanding — instead of shutting down, appeasing, or escalating.

You may want to speak honestly but hesitate. You’ve experienced how easily words can be taken out of context, labelled, or politicised, and you worry about being seen as politically incorrect or “getting it wrong.” You care deeply about impact, but you’re tired of second-guessing every sentence, softening your point mid-conversation, or replaying what you said afterwards. This work supports you to speak clearly and truthfully, without performing or disappearing, while staying accountable for how your words land.

Here, conversations go beyond surface positions. You learn how to engage with values, emotions, and tension — yours and others’. That includes noticing when a conversation is stuck, naming when something doesn’t feel right, staying present when there’s disagreement, and listening without losing your own perspective. You practise holding curiosity alongside difference, even when conversations feel intense or uncomfortable, and building trust without sacrificing honesty.

Integrity is central. You practise speaking in ways that stay aligned with your values, needs, and lived experience — whether you’re setting boundaries, naming harm, disagreeing respectfully, or saying what matters when it would be easier to stay silent. The result is dialogue that feels authentic, grounded, and meaningful, rather than careful, forced, or hollow .Reach out when you’re ready to begin building clearer, more intentional conversations.

Welcome I’m Mark. Your conversation partner.

I offer 1:1 coaching, Connector Circle Sessions, and talks for people facing tough, high-stakes conversations at , personal life work, in leadership, and in community. This includes moments like advocating for yourself in a meeting, addressing tension within a team, talking about mental health with family, or speaking up in community spaces where views, values, or identities collide. The focus is on calm, grounded communication that helps you stay present, speak honestly, and remain connected when the stakes are real.

My background spans policing reform, neurodiversity advocacy, community work, and entrepreneurship — environments where conversations can’t rely on scripts or safe language alone. I’m used to holding dialogue where clarity, care, and challenge have to coexist, and where saying what’s true and useful matters more than saying what sounds right.

I don’t push pace or offer formulas for “getting it right.” I help you slow down, notice what’s shaping your reactions, and speak with steadiness — meaning staying engaged when tension rises, without shutting down, appeasing, or escalating. The work adapts to your rhythm and the way you think, so integrity isn’t lost under pressure.

Clients often come away more confident in difficult conversations, clearer about what they want to say, and better able to build trust — whether they’re leading teams, navigating conflict, or trying to move important conversations forward without burning out or backing down.
